Arion was constructed in 1965 at Pula, in Croatia, as “Istra”. Purchased by Arcalia Shipping, the ship was completely reconstructed in Lisbon in 2000.

The Arion ship is operated by the Portuguese and other European Officers and an international crew. Her size and characteristics makes her able to cruise far from crowd destinations.

Cabins:
M/S Arion has a total of 162 cabins of which 127 are oceanview. 35 inside and 4 single.
Cabins are generally small but nicely furnished and feature air-conditioned with individual controls, and are equipped with phone, hair dryer, safe box, satellite TV and private bathroom with shower. The larger cabins have bathrobes and optional breakfast cabin service.

| | Arion has at her disposal a fresh water swimming pool, sun decks, promenade lounges, including a winter garden for leisure moments, cocktail bar with a late night coco and an intimate piano bar.

In addition to TV-s installed in all passengers cabins our guests may enjoy our daily movies.
| A choice of breakfasts is served in our dinning room or, weather permitting, in our Lido lounge, where you will enjoy lunch which includes fresh pasta, light salads, international cuisine or healthy choice that reflects the modern taste; afternoon tea, delicious finger sandwiches and warm scones with devon-clotted cream and jam and a wide selection of teas. Dinner is a culinary experience with a balanced menu to please even the most demanding diets.
